Use items or ninja weapons
Creative Uses of the Grappling Hook

The hook is normally used to help the main character get around, but it can also be put to other uses. For example, set a land mine close to an enemy's feet and then use the hook to drag them into it. The ways that items and ninja weapons can be combined are almost unlimited.

Use it for Movement
The usual way of using the hook is to attach it to something like a wall, allowing you to climb quickly to high places.

Place a landmine behind an enemy soldier.
"What was that?!"

The enemy soldier is suddenly pulled backwards. Note the surprised expression on his face.

Attach the hook to the soldier's back from a distance and then pull!!
As soon as the soldier touches the landmine, it explodes. Pulling enemies has a wide variety of uses.

You Don't Have to Kill Everyone

In this game, it doesn't matter how a mission is accomplished.
You may choose to avoid unnecessary bloodshed.
Enemies respond to sound, so you can remain quiet to avoid combat.
Of course, there will be more than washtubs available to use.
Try coming up with uses for all of the items you encounter in the game.

"Hm? What was that noise?"

The enemy soldier hears the sound of the washtub being thrown and leaves his post. While he's gone, you can slip through unnoticed.
Throw a Washtub
The distance that an item is thrown is adjustable. You can throw something as hard as you can, or merely toss it a short distance in front of you. Adjust the strength you use depending on the situation.

Evaded detection...

   Preview: Devices

Even this cute wooden chick is a part of the ninja's arsenal. It's a device that can be controlled from a distance. It seems like it could be used for a variety of things. Exciting, isn't it?

It can even fly!
