Each Pokémon can learn a maximum of 4 Moves. They can learn powerful attacks or acquire more defensive power, but within the dungeon, when you make an action such as an attack (one turn), the opponent will also make one turn of action. But when you use "Link"…
When you typically want to use moves such as "Leer" or "Scratch," here is what will happen: "Leer" -> "opponent's attack" -> "Scratch." You will therefore suffer an attack for sure. But if you link the two moves beforehand, you can make both "Leer" and "Scratch" moves successively in one turn!
More than two moves can be linked together as well. Look at the screenshot on the left. If you link "Tackle," "Growl," "Vine Whip," and "Leech Seed" in advance, it will be effective for powerful opponents you don't want to receive a lot of attacks from.
The number of times a move can be used is predetermined according to the move. When you link moves, every time you use it the number of times left for each move will decrease, so beware of overuse.

You can link Moves at Gulpin Link Shop in Pokémon Square. In the dungeon, if you have an item called Link Box, you can link moves in the same way. |
