There are some differences between the simultaneously-released "Explorers of Time" and "Explorers of Darkness."
Even within the same dungeon, A few of Pokémon that appear are partly different in "Explorers of Time" and "Explorers of Darkness."
Pokémon that appear are different - this means that Pokémon that you can be friends with will also be different!  Let's look at some of them.



Even within the same dungeon, "Pachirisu" appears in "Explorers of Time" while "Buneary" appears in "Explorers of Darkness"!



In another dungeon, "Combee" has joined the team in "Explorers of Time" while "Burmy" has joined the team in "Explorers of Darkness"!


New items that appear only in one or the other of "Explorers of Time" and "Explorers of Darkness"!
Because they are extremely valuable items, their capture methods may differ even within the same dungeon, or a difference in game characteristic may occur.  Let's look as some of them.


A mysterious seed that appears only in "Explorers of Time."
By consuming this yourself or throwing it at the enemy Pokémon, "Defense" and " Special Defense " levels of yourself or the enemy will drop to the lowest level.




A mysterious seed that appears only in "Explorers of Darkness."
By consuming this yourself or throwing it at the enemy Pokémon, "Attack" and " Special Attack " levels of yourself or the enemy will rise to the highest level.



A special Wonder Orb that appears only in "Explorers of Time."
When used, enemy Pokémon on the floor will become "Petrified."
"Petrified" is a state of being incapacitated until further effect.



A special Wonder Orb that appears only in "Explorers of Darkness."
When used, enemy Pokémon in the room will become "Paused."
"Paused" is a state of being incapacitated for a certain amount of time.



By using wireless connection, you can exchange items in the storage with other players.  Since items appearing in the dungeons of "Explorers of Time" and "Explorers of Darkness" are different, exchanging with items that are hard to come by in your game version will definitely help you in later adventures!
